Purwantiningsih theresiaicha@gmail.com <div style="text-align: justify;">This study aimed to determine husk charcoal's effect on the growth and production of Bengal Grass (Panicum maximum). The method used in this study is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The variables measured in this study included plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and dry weight. The treatments were A0 (without husk charcoal), A1 (150 gr husk charcoal), A2 (200 gr husk charcoal), and A3 (250 gr husk charcoal). The results showed that the highest average growth was in the cultivation of A2 plants = 61,15 cm (plant height); A2 = 58,22 pieces (number of leaves); A2 = 779,88 g (fresh weight); and A3 = 505,60 g (dry weight). One of the obstacles in the development of the livestock business is the lack of availability of feed ingredients in terms of quantity, quality, and continuity. The need for feed is not constant because forage is very dependent on the season, where in the rainy season, feed is very abundant, and in summer, the availability of feed is very less. One way to overcome this is to use rice straw as an alternative feed for livestock, which is abundantly available during the harvest season. However, rice straw has high ADF, NDF, lignin and cellulose content, so rice straw needs to be processed. This study aims to determine the effect of using local microorganisms (MOL) of cow rumen fluid at different inoculum levels on the quality of fermented rice straw to overcome the lack of feed in certain seasons. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications, namely R0: 87% rice straw + 10% rice bran + 3% molasses (without MOL of cow rumen fluid/control); R1: Rice Straw 87% + Rice Bran 10% + molasses 3% + MOL cow rumen fluid 5%; R2: Rice Straw 87% + Rice Bran 10% + molasses 3% + MOL cow rumen fluid 10%; R3: Rice Straw 87% + Rice Bran 10% + molasses 3% + MOL beef rumen fluid 15%. The percentage of molasses and cow's rumen fluid was adjusted to the weight of chopped rice straw and the data were analyzed using analysis of variance (Anova). The results showed that the treatment had a significant effect (P&lt;0,05) on the ADF, NDF, lignin, and cellulose content of rice straw. The study used 43 male free-range chickens aged 3 months, and data collection was taken when the chickens were 5 months old. The treatments consisted of T1: control feed + L-Arginine 0,4 g + L-Lysine 0,6 g; T2: Control feed + L-Arginine 0,6 g + L-Lysine 0,6 g; T3: Control feed + L-Arginine 0,4 g + L-Lysine 0,8 g; and T4: Control feed + L-Arginine 0,6 g + L-Lysine 0,8 g. The variables observed in this study were motility, viability, and spermatozoa abnormalities. The highest mean mass motility value was found in treatment (T4) of 2,6±0,93 and individual motility, the highest average value was also found in (T4) 80±13,32%, the highest mean viability was found in (T2) of 95±1,58%, and the lowest mean abnormal is found in (T1) of 13,5±1,60%. Statistical analysis showed that the administration of the amino acids L-Arginine and L-Lysine with different levels had a significant effect on viability while on mass motility; individual motility and abnormal spermatozoa had no significant effect. This study used 43 domestic chickens aged 3 months, and data collection was carried out when the chickens were 5 months old. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications so that there are 20 experimental units. The treatments given included treatment T1 (Control Feed + L-Lysine 0,6% + L-Arginine 0,4%), T2 (Control Feed + L-Lysine 0,6% + L-Arginine 0,6%), T3 (Control Feed + L-Lysine 0,8% + L-Arginine 0,4%), and T4 (Control Feed + L-Lysine 0,8% + L-Arginine 0,6%). The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively to obtain qualitative data, and an Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) was performed to obtain quantitative data. Statistical analysis showed that the semen volume of Kampung Chicken supplemented with amino acids L-Lysine and L-Arginine in the feed had a significant effect (P&lt;0,05) on the volume and pH of the semen. Furthermore, the results of the descriptive test of supplementation of amino acids L-Arginine and L-Lysine in the feed had no significant effect on the quality of semen odour, semen colour, and consistency/viscosity of Kampung Chicken semen. This research is survey research where data collection is assisted by questionnaires using interview techniques and field observations. Locations and respondents were determined by the purposive sampling method. This research was conducted in a closed house with a population of 8.000 broiler chickens. Analysis of weight gain using the formula for weight in the latest week (grams) minus weight in the previous week (grams) then divided by 7 days. The weight gain of broilers at Narti Farm is between 1,4 to 1,5 kg with a feed conversion ratio of 1,4 and harvesting age between 29 to 30 days. The results showed that the weight gain and feed conversion ratio at Narti Farm Blitar was in accordance with company standards with the implementation of controlled production management.
